Right. That's about 40 hours on Youtube. If you never use wifi I suppose its possible.

I've done 100 gb in a month quite a few times. Streaming live football takes up a lot, as does YouTube etc

Re: Switching to sim only
YOU mentioned MATES like it was the reason. Have you checked the apps that use the 6 GB of data that makes you get 100 GB of data to be on the SAFE side?

Dunno BRANDED.. she was always going over her 4GB data with her contract phone that used to cost me a fortune so I gladly pay £12.50 a month JUST TO BE ON THE SAFE SIDE

She uses 100gb a month to chat with mates virtually?

Re: Switching to sim only
Depends how many MATES you have Branded son... my daughter where she is living at the mo does not have any wi fi so that's why she gets the 100GB

Re: Switching to sim only
Why does anyone need more than, say, 20gb of data a month on a mobile phone?

I just get the sim that gives the most euro data. On EE atm, unlimited everything in U.K. 50 gig a month data in Europe.

£25ish

Re: Switching to sim only
Because I’m with BT, I can get sim free with EE for £8 per month with unlimited text and calls and 10 GB of data. If you want, you can get 2 years interest free with either Samsung or Apple and you’ve got something to trade in if you want to upgrade.

Quite.
If you can afford to buy a new phone outright it is silly not to.

Re: Switching to sim only
Bought a Sony phone five years ago for about £200, paying 6 quid a month to Virgin for a SIM until recently. Does all the usual stuff. the battery runs for just a day now so I'll be looking to buy a new one in the near future but I think I'm quids in. I would never go on contract. My household insurance covers loss / theft while I'm out and about.

Re: Switching to sim only
why would anyone not be on SIM only , those stupid Samsung and Iphone contracts are a waste of money , the phones now from say Motorola 70 quid do exactly what you need for 2 years , text your mates , surf the web play games , watch football and take pics ,play music . plus they are dual SIM and your own memory . I have a Samsung S22 from work and daughter Iphone 14 its hard to see how they warrant £800 more

On 3, unlimited everything for about £13 a month. Got roaming in some daft number of countries (lots outside Europe) as well. I biy Chinese phones which are better and much cheaper than your standard iPhones/Samsungs.
